About the appflame foundation

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have donated over 15 million UAH through appflame foundation to support Ukraine’s defense.

In the first days of the invasion, we launched the appflame Volunteer Service to raise funds and provide our team members and their loved ones with everything they needed.

This initiative quickly gained momentum and scaled into appflame foundation — we began actively transferring funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, joining large military-related projects, and launching our own.

How we are bringing our Victory closer

  • We donate funds to support Ukraine’s defense
    "We supply the front line with tactical medicine, equipment, humanitarian aid, and more. We also support our team members and their families by providing them with all necessary resources and assistance.

    For example, in 2023, appflame supported the "Zdiymemo rokit" initiative and equipped the 112th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade with a full brigade set of aerial reconnaissance tools. This included: 18 reconnaissance quadcopters, 108 power batteries, 15 communication devices, 6 signal-boosting antennas, 6 charging stations, 10 tablets, 3 monitors for data display, and 2 laptops. This equipment is now saving the lives of Ukrainian defenders.

    We also regularly volunteer and, as a team, make trench candles and power banks for the military."
  • We implement large-scale projects
    Together with our partners, we run projects that bring Ukraine closer to Victory, including:

    - The ADDEX project “The Future of Prosthetics in Ukraine”, which focuses on the development of prosthetics and innovative approaches through additive technologies, localization of production, and training of specialists to provide prosthetics for all Ukrainians who need them — war veterans, wounded service members, civilians, and children with amputations;

    - The “Captain’s Training” course, a military leadership program for officers, developed by leading military experts according to NATO standards and informed by the latest combat experience in the Russo-Ukrainian war;

    - The project “Pride is Not Available in Your Region”. As part of the Blackrock initiative “LGBTQ+ Identities in the Face of War”, the team behind Taimi, our inclusive LGBTQ+ dating app, launched this campaign to raise funds in support of the Ukrainian LGBTQ+ community — those serving in the Armed Forces, involved in human rights volunteer groups, and all who are courageously overcoming the devastating consequences of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
  • We support mobilized team members
    We provide our mobilized colleagues with everything they need for military service, retain their positions within the company, offer financial compensation, and support them in preparing for deployment.

“We believe in our victory and strive to bring it closer.

We do everything to ensure our military has everything they need on the battlefield. We believe that the energy of each individual brings victory closer, every blood donation saves lives, and every hot meal restores faith in humanity.” — Oleksandr Pasykov, Founder & CEO of appflame.
